With seven sizes of flexi clips to choose from it can be hard to figure out what size you might need. Follow these guidelines and you are well on your way to finding your perfect Lilla Rose Flexi clip size.
It's as easy as 1-2-3.
To determine your perfect Flexi size will depend on your hair thickness, hair length and desired hairstyle.

Step 1- Start with your ponytail size
Grab your hair and pull back like you are creating a ponytail. Next, wrap your fingers around your ponytail and carefully pull your hand down keeping the measurements you just made intact.
How big is the circumference you made with your fingers? Compare that to the chart below. For easy comparison we use coins as a visual.

Step 2- What hairstyle will you be wearing?
Most women wear 3 basic styles. The ponytail, half up and tails up or French twist. How will you be wearing your hair the most often?
If doing a half-up you will need to size one size down from your ponytail size. If you will be doing a French twist you will need to size up one size (possibly 2 if your hair is really long and thick).
For most people a tails up is usually the same size as your ponytail size.
Step 3- What is your hair length and texture?
This will determine what size you need to use for an updo. Most women will need to only go up one size from their ponytail size for a french twist.
Giving as a gift and not sure what size to get. I recommend starting with the extra small as that is the most versatile size that can be worn in multiple ways. (Small sizes can even be worn on scarves). The Flexi Flip is another great option because you can flip the pin around to get three sizes in one clip. The Sport works in the same fashion as the Flexi Flip creating multiple sizes in one clip and comes in fun colors.
TIPS:
Mini- Our smallest clip, recommended for baby fine hair or pulling back just a little bit of hair. If your ponytail is an extra small, you will use the mini for a 'Half-up'.
Extra Small- The extra small was designed for those with very fine hair who want to do styles like the Ponytail and Tails-up. Also works for most women's Half-ups.Small
Smalls are the most common size for a Ponytail with fine hair. Those who have thick hair and use a medium or large for a Ponytail will use the small for a Half-up.Medium
The medium is best for those with thick hair and want to do a Ponytail or a Tails Up. If your Ponytail is a small, the medium is great for a French Twist or Up & Down.
Large- If you've very thick hair (wavy, curly, or straight, but very thick) you can use the large for a Ponytail or Tails Up. If you use a medium for your ponytail, then you can use a large your French Twist. You will want to use the extra large for very long thick hair.
Extra Large- Our extra large was designed for the Up Dos. When you watch the video of the Extra Long hair style you can see how this is used. Those with very thick hair (large ponytail size) can also use the extra large for the Up & Down or French Twist styles. Extremely rare will someone use the extra large for a ponytail. Those who use the mini, extra small, and small sizes will never need an extra large.
Mega- The Mega Flexi is the largest of our clips. This XXL clip can hold gigantic amounts of hair.
